WAY Back in January...

Life has been so busy in the Adams' household, I haven't blogged in ages! WAAAAAAAYYYYY back in January we were having quite a bit of fun! We did a lot of 'snowy' themed art and play, went on an awesome field trip and enjoyed a fun dress up night at Awanas. Here is a glimpse of some of the things we did...

We enjoyed some fun black and white snowy art.  :)

Faithy made a cute snow family picture and practiced writing all of our family names on the circles.

I LOVE that she drew each of our faces so differently!

We also got to go on an awesome field trip to see the Chinook Helicopters with our homeschool group!

The kids loved it!

One of our sweet friends had a birthday and I got to make her fun artist's cake.  :)

We did another fun snowman project with marshmallows...and of course we had to eat some too.

Joy and Joshua got to dress up as snow people for a theme night for Awana. They were so cute!

Joshua spent many days playing with the dominoes and making all sorts of shapes and designs to knock down...

We got a few more snow flurries...

The kids always love to sit at the window and watch it fall down, it's so pretty.  :)

It was fun for awhile, now we are praying that spring will come quickly! We are so tired of the cold! Hopefully it will be here soon.  :)

Flowers in Korea!

A few days ago we went to a little flower market for a field trip with some other homeschool friends...It was probably the BEST smelling place in Korea that I've been to so far. The market was on the 3rd floor and as soon as we walked into the elevator we could smell the sweet flowers. :) It was amazing after just coming in from outside where all you smell is kimchi and fertilizer most of the time! LOL!

Right away the kids had their noses in the flowers!

Me and the crew... I am so blessed. :) We came home with a ton of flowers that we got for amazingly cheap prices to decorated our Thanksgiving table.

Joy and her sweet friend Kayden...

On the way home we saw 'Batman's Lair!' LOL! Who knew he had a place in Korea?! :)

Sand! - Mallipo Beach, S.Korea

We had more beach fun earlier this week at Mallipo Beach! It was different than the first beach we went to. This one had real sand!

There were starfish and other creatures too...

The kids all made friends and played with some local kids that spoke English very well and seemed excited to get to practice using it with us!  :)

The blue starfish were the most exciting find that day...

As usual, we had a few photoshoots with the local Korean people. It's so funny how many of them want their picture taken with random American children. My kids are so use to it now though, they don't seem to mind. Joshua even hams it up quite a bit and really gets the Korean girls squealing with delight as he poses for them and with them! It's a good thing we're in Korea while he's 5 and not 15.  :)

We also checked out another beach that day that was close to Mallipo but it wasn't as sandy. It was much more wet and muddy...Samuel still enjoyed playing in it though!

I think a few tiny crabs lost their lives that day because of this cute little guy! He kept trying to pick them up because they were everywhere, and they mostly got squished!

His other favorite part of the day was chasing all of the "doggies!" We kept telling him that all the seagulls were "birds" but he kept shouting "doggie!" as he chased them. :) By the time we left he did say "bird" a few times, but even the crabs he was calling "doggie" that day! :)
